Review: Rolex Explorer Reference 214270

The Rolex Explorer is one of my favorite Rolex watches due to its under-the-radar nature and sheer simplicity. Although this watch is very simple, everything about it was done absolutely perfectly. For example, the mixture of polished and brushed 904L stainless steel surfaces show the true mastery that Rolex's finishing department possess. A large part of this watch's appeal comes from its history as a favorite among some of the coolest people in history.
