On The Wrist: Victorinox Infantry Mechanical Chronograph 421526

Pros: Thie main pro of this watch is its movement. It uses the renowned ETA Valjioux 7750. This movement is extremely robust, tough, and easy to service. The movement performs very well and is very useful with its chronograph complication. Also, this is one of the only watches that you can get for around $600, that has a automatic chronograph movement. Another pro of this watch is its case. The PVD case looks incredible, and the PVD is the perfect shade, not too dark or light. Also, behind the coating is 316L Stainless steel, which is the same steel that is used by brands such as Omega and Tudor. This watch also has an exhibition case back, which in my mind is a very cool feature because it allows you to see the movement operating. The final pro of this watch is its strap and deployant clasp. The strap is high quality leather, and the deployant clasp is extremely user friendly, unlike many others, because it uses buttons.

Cons: The first con of this watch is the size. It is 43mm but wears more like a 45mm or 46mm watch, and in my opinion it is too big. Another major con of the watch is its 43mm lug width, which makes it extremely hard to find an aftermarket strap that will fit it. One other thing that I am not quite fond of is the white date wheel. I believe that it should be black because the white really sticks out.

Overall, this watch offers great value for the money, with very little cons.
